This summer we had planned for Eden to take lessons with the LSU Gymnastics team. She started a little early. One day about a month ago she started to try and do a somersault in the den. Since she HAD to do it (and several more) Ashley taught her how to tuck her chin, position her hands, and go. She has gotten quite good.
In addition to performing stunts with unusual talent, she also LOVES (and I mean will sit there for 20 minutes and ask for more LOVES) to shred paper into strips. We have no idea where this passion came from, but it is real. In order to pick this particular pile up Ashley had to tell Eden that the strips were turtles, and we needed to put them in a safe place so they would not escape and crawl all over the house (otherwise, we would be knee deep in this stuff).
