I mean, really, they're just the cutest things ever!
This little stinker did actually take a nap on her nap mat and was happy most of the day, but she also enjoyed climbing on top of the little picnic table in her classroom and giggling at her teachers every time they told her to get down. Hence, they affectionately called her their little stinker for the day.
This cutie was the line leader on her first day in the Tigers class. She also reports pretending to be a puppy on the playground and getting marker all over her hand as she did the tracing art project for today. Her daddy said she carried her backpack and nap mat into school all by herself and walked herself straight to her classroom without waiting for him to follow along. She was just a bit excited.
She compromised with me to do one photo with the crown and some without.
All the school supplies and hand-made nap mats were ready, and their daddy took them off to school. No screaming or crying when leaving the house this year! Yippee!
After school, the girls and I celebrated with beignets at Coffee Call {Miss E's idea but I wasn't too hard to convince :) }
... and to prove I did actually get dressed and teach today, here's one photo {thanks Momma, for the back-to-school clothes!} ...
Hard to believe it has all started again. Strangely enough, it pretty much feels like we never left this routine. Sigh.

Wow. They grow up so fast!! The backpacks are totally adorable and your outfit is really cute too!
