Meanwhile, on the inside ... babies were held ...

...and new faces arrived including Morgan's daddy, Nick.

One of those new faces was also Lady Bug Girl! Eden LOVES this year's costume - when you ask her what Lady Bug Girl does, she says "Lady Bug Girl can do ANYTHING!" (which is what LBG actually says in the book series). Ashley had to "introduce" her at least a dozen times before it got old ... but staring at her never got old for Morgan.

After dinner that night, we sang Happy Birthday to everyone. Mama II told Eden that when her birthday came around next she could remember that her Mama II had helped her celebrate with homemade cupcakes and ice cream. Ashley (or Laura Ashley as Mama II calls her) thought it was the sweetest idea. We sang the song at least 3 times - Eden insisted. We only got one cupcake, though.
