Last week, CC came to stay to help out while we had a visiting scholar in from Michigan State. Since Graham and I had lots of stuff going on at work, CC was here to spend some quality time with the girls. Over the weekend, Granddaddy drove down and joined us so that we could celebrate his birthday.
We started off celebrating by playing with Sugar in the backyard ...
Then, we watched a little football, followed by a fantastic birthday meal of pecan-encrusted catfish, asparagus, cornbread, and salad prepared by Graham. We finished things off with chocolate cupcakes and ice cream and singing "Happy Birthday." Eden thought it was the perfect little party.
