On Thanksgiving my family gets together at my Uncle Wayne's and Aunt Nikki's place in Defuniak Springs, Florida. It is about a 2.5 hour drive from Mobile, so we made the trip to Mobile on Wednesday ...

She pushed a baby stroller around the barn floor for a good 30 minutes {while she was the only child there for a short time} gaining the attention of everyone there.
Then it was time to play house ...
... and bounce ...
Although she has four kids of her own, my cousin Anna could not get enough ...
This is Eden's third cousin, Bodie Adams. He is a little over two and a great playmate.
Eden did take a nap while we were there ... well, actually, she sat in her pack-and-play for about an hour and read books and sang to herself {we checked on her every 20 minutes or so} before she finally fell asleep ... while everyone ate {she was rubbing her eyes during the blessing}. When she woke up, she ate some more turkey then played outside with balls for a little while.
One of her other favorite toys was this little car. It was just her size, and she could push it and steer it.
We got back around 6, and Eden gave her Aunt Ashley her birthday present {Ashley was born on Thanksgiving, and her birthday landed on Thanksgiving again this year}. Then she said night-night to her and her "man friend" Matt {whose name Eden got very good at saying - she can say Ashley now, too!}.
Overall, it was a fun day. We only see this side of the family at Thanksgiving so it was nice to go and catch up. It was also nice to eat until we could eat no more ... then go for dessert. After a good night's sleep, it was time to do it again ... post to come ..
