Night Night Dada

It was about 5:00 p.m. I closed my eyes to rest for a few seconds on the couch while Eden read a book. The next thing I know Eden was petting my leg and saying "night, night."

Then, she grabbed my index finger and said, "Doh, doh" {a.k.a. Go}. I got up and was led by her to her room. She pointed to the bed and said, "Night, night Dada." I asked her if she wanted me to lie down. She said yes. I got on the bed and closed my eyes.

When I opened them slightly to peek at what she was doing, I noticed she was making her way to the sound machine. Then, the sound machine was on. "Night, Night," she said as she rubbed my arm. Then, she grabbed a pillow off the bed, placed it on the floor, walked over to her blanket basket, grabbed a lovey, placed the lovey on the pillow, put her head down, and closed her eyes. About 5 seconds later, she laughed.

We spent the next 20 minutes playing night-night which consisted of her taking the pillow around the house, placing it on the ground and asking me to put my head next to hers. Each time I did she would laugh and start the process all over again.

Very cute.
