her first time out

Well, she's been 2 for about a week, and she had her first time out today.

It's definitely been coming for a little while. We've seen her looks, knowing she knows what we've told her to do, but before today we could tell she just thought it was funny to do something other than what we told her to. It was as if she was amused by the fact that she had figured out what we were saying and what the opposite was.

Well, she's finally gotten to the point where she is definitely deliberately defying what we tell her to do. And today, when I walked over to talk to her sternly and tell her no, she raised her arms in protest and frustration and slammed them down on my arms.

She had to sit in time out for one minute.

Man, she did not like that.

She sat there quietly but would not look at me when I came to tell her it was over and remind her of what she did wrong.

I can tell she has seen time-outs at PDO since she knew what was going on.

We are definitely in a new stage now. Summer months at home, here we come.
