Monday, January 9th was not only the day LSU got stomped by Alabama, it was also Eden's first day back to school (Lydia did not go back until Tuesday). As might be expected, it was Purple-and-Gold Day, and she asked to wear her LSU cheerleading outfit.
Ashley made a Geaux Tigers sign, double-sided with a full disclosure statement on the back.
She really enjoyed sporting it around school, and Ashley heard about it a lot when she picked her up from school.
Since Eden was sick during the last week before Christmas break, she never got to give her teachers presents. She made each of them an ornament, and she dictated each a note.
She was quite excited about going back - in fact, she asked for a few days before Monday when school would start. Monday also marked my going back to the office and Ashley's part-time semester or as she likes to call it "the semester as Part-Time Professor" (hence Lydia staying home that day). Ashley is teaching one class and not working Monday or Friday (and not working evenings or Saturdays). Should be a fun and slightly more relaxing semester.
