two weeks

So, we've been gone for a little while from the blog. We heard that some people are having withdrawals from the blog - though we won't name names, Aunt Beverly ... oops ... Honestly, we never meant to not post, but it just happened. We've spent the past two weeks traveling separately to Indiana and Mississippi, drove 6 hours for a birthday party, travelled to the North [i.e. north Mississippi] to see Britton and Courtney, oh and before that we went to Texas for a weekend road trip. We've been a little busy.

So what have we learned over these two weeks? That two weeks is definitely E's limit for travel [even longer if you count the texas trip the weekend before when we were gone and E stayed in BR with her Nona]. We

By the last night at CC and Granddaddy's Eden cried at dinner to go to her house, mainly because I had left for BR that day at lunch.

She even, well you're just not going to believe this, she even hit Ashley while defiantly saying no when she didn't get what she wanted. An immediate time-out ensued, but this little face tap happened again the first day Ashley and Eden were at home this week. Needless to say, the past few days have been detox days with Ashley and Eden at home just giving E time to get back in her game. I, on the other had, started teaching a 2-week 3.5-hour-per-day course in relational communication ... sigh ...

Overall, the trip was fun, though we are both glad to be back. Now begins the mass posting in order to catch up ... hope you all saved up some time to read and view pics ...
