CC & Granddaddy's

Unfortunately, Ashley wasn't feeling well for most of the trip in Mississippi so that cut back our grand plans to have dinner with other friends while in town. It didn't, however, cut back on Eden's ability to have a fantastic time with her CC and Granddaddy who were thrilled to indulge her during the stay. For instance, who doesn't like a little after-dinner swim [or swimming nearly every day for that matter]? One perk of not feeling well while staying with your parents is having someone to take care of the baby while you take care of yourself. There was a lot of that going around.

As you can see, Eden has a new flotation device - it even clips to a special swimsuit bottom! Oh how floating technology has advanced since those orange arm things ...

While there, three generations of Jones women also got to make oatmeal raisin cookies (yes, Jones women can cook, the rumors are not true). Eden enjoyed impersonating her Aunt Whitney.

Other things learned, ... Eden will give away kisses and "I love yous" freely when there are cashews or cookies around. Just ask Chip.

Of course no visit is complete without seeing Eden's [great] Grandmama ... luckily we also got to see The Great Aunt Janet (who just happened to have a cute red dress from Spain handy ... Eden called it her Ladybug Dress as she twirled in front of the mirror and sang).
