Ashley and I were sitting in the den, I on the computer and she watching HGTV. The couple on the "my new house" show had a baby, bought a house, the husband started a new business, and the wife was on maternity leave all within the same short time period.
Ashley turned to me and said, "That's crazy. That's more crazy than planning to have a baby while in graduate school when you don't know if you're going to have a job the next year."
"Seriously," I replied. "Whoever would do that is nuts."
Wait a minute, that was us. We're crazy. Just thought we'd share.
