We've made it back from our break and the beach photos are on their way. Until then, we've got some random things to share.
The first baby item we bought was a jogging stroller - in fact, we bought it before Eden was even born (I think Ashley was only about 4 or 5 months pregnant). Since Eden was less than 5 pounds at birth, it was a while before she would fit into it. The first time I took her in it, we had to roll up several blankets and stuff them next to her so she wouldn't jostle around.

As I was writing this Ashley interrupted my typing to mention a piece of advice she got before Eden was born. Someone told her to take pictures of Eden next to something that would show growth over time. The ideal item in our house for that purpose was one of the chairs we inherited from Ashley's Mama Sally and a bear Eden got from Ashley's Grandmama. Although those pictures are good, Ashley admitted (to her dismay) the ones of Eden in the jogging stroller really do a better job of showing how much Eden has grown ... go figure. The first thing she could say when she saw the top two pictures? You guessed it ... go-go gadget.
