Since birth, we've always known one thing about Eden ... she would be very well dressed for anything water or beach related. Some of her first outfits were swimsuits ... and who could blame people? She is quite cute in them! {thanks Aunt Whitney for taking such a cute photo}

Here she is ready to go to the pool, at least she thought she was ready. You don't really have to put on the swimsuit, right?

And you can tell from these photos that there was some entertainment on the lawn. Two little boys were playing soccer, and Eden was fascinated. Can't you just see her itching to get out there ...

As you may have noticed so far, on all of the beach-related posts so far, there has yet to be an actual picture of the beach. Why? Well, Eden did not particularly care for the sand. In fact, in her words, sand is "Yuck!"

The pool, on the other hand, was quite enjoyable.

It only took a day before Eden got comfortable in the baby pool (she also had lots of fun in the big pool, splashing around, jumping to daddy and granddaddy). Although at first she would just stand there and ask to be picked up, after a while she was walking around, picking up her ducks, splashing, and just generally having a good ol' time. She still doesn't like her head to go under water, but we're working on that.
