Happy Halloween!

A long, long time ago, it was Halloween instead of Christmas season.

Lydia wanted to be a clown (the kind that gives away balloon animals and writes names on a list of the people who have placed orders for their balloon). She tried on a rainbow wig but it was too itchy, hence, the fuzzy crazy red hair. Our little clown ...

EB had plans to be "Bat Girl," literally a girl with plastic bats all down her arms and in her hair. Awesome plan. Unfortunately, her sidekick (her Daddy in a BatMan tshirt) was out of the country for trick-or-treating this year. Fortunately, her CC came into town and was a great distraction for the girls while missing their Daddy.

Halloween Friday was "wear orange" day at EB's school. The day started with a word-find card from CC that was for the tween age range, but EB finished it in just a few minutes.

If they say "wear orange," by goodness she's all in. Told her she looked just like a pumpkin -- pretty good look for Halloween.

Thankfully, I got to help with the 1st Grade Halloween Party. The fake, squiggly spider sewn onto my shirt shoulder was a HUGE hit with the first-grade crowd, and that made my little first-grader very happy .
