The day after Christmas, we packed the car and headed to Jackson around Lydia's naptime ... a very peaceful drive on Hwy 98.
We spend some alone time with CC and Granddaddy that day, and picked up the Little family at the Jackson airport on Friday around lunch.
You'll notice not too many pictures of the big Littles ... After Boston and Whitney spent Friday afternoon asleep and then not feeling better, Whitney was diagnosed with the flu on Friday night ... so it was lots of Lysol and quarantine.
We made do by opening gifts upstairs the next morning with Uncle Britton, Coco, HW, and CC and Granddaddy. Uncle Britton helped EB open and design with her new Goldie Blocks ...
EB and I tried to stop Uncle Bobo from winning every game of Catch It.
Quarantine did mean that we spent some time with HW, Britton, and Courtney, upstairs on Saturday morning.
It also meant that the big family Christmas meal on Saturday had to be cancelled. Since we were worried about the girls catching the flu, we packed up around lunch on Saturday and headed back to Baton Rouge. Ashley spent the next few days fighting off being depressed, but we were all thankful for the short time that we did have at the 147 with family.
