Friday after our family Christmas we spent the morning packing essentials ...
...then got in the car after lunch in time for a bit of reading then a 2 hour nap.
We arrive in Mobile, and Nona and Big Daddy have several early presents waiting. One of Lydia's favorite toys was a floor piano she could dance on and have it play music. The cat did not like it so much.
And we realized she is a natural at basketball! You can't see it, but her Jordan tongue is unbelievable!
Night, night baby! It's a favorite at home or away.
Playing dress-up with Aunt Sarah.
Saturday morning we did our 4th family Advent breakfast - cinnamon rolls were our unhealthy food.
We also had oatmeal and fruit.
Lydia created a new game - run around Mom's legs then through them while yelling "aaaahhhhhh!" the entire time.
On Sunday, we got ready for the joint Ashley-Sarah engagement party - part of which was getting a new blow-up slide for the kiddos. EB and Lydia tried it out to make sure it was safe.
Perhaps it was all the games of hide-and-seek EB and I play or perhaps it is just because she is a little nuts, but here is how we found Lydia one day, giggling at herself for the new talent.
The cutest cowgirl under the age of 2 ever!
Painting with Aunt Sarah - we needed artwork for the party.
