help

I was out of commission two weekends ago due to some minor surgery (no worries, it was planned - the two-kids-and-through surgery). Since I could not help with the girls during recovery, my folks came in to lend a much needed few hands for the weekend.

Lydia got a new chew toy ...

... and Eden got several colors of sticky pads (which she loves writing notes on).

Eden was especially excited that Big Daddy was going to help hang rainbow lights on the back deck ...

We love the lights on the back deck so Eden can see them from the kitchen and enjoys them much more than if there were up front. She asks to turn them on every morning as she gets into the car for school.

After a long day of work outside, she got a much needed spa treatment ...

I am finally able to up the girls (off for a week - yes, you can feel bad for Ashley she has taken the slack and then some). There is no way we would have been able to handle it without the help from family. Nona and Big Daddy were here Saturday and Sunday (taking Eden to church and allowing Ashley to have some down time), and CC came Sunday evening and stayed through Monday night. Thanks is such a short word for how blessed we feel.
