30 plus 3

On Thursday, March 10, Ashley turned 30 (plus 3). We celebrated by blowing out a candle on beignets.

Eden is quite fond of this breakfast ... perhaps she is a cajun after all.

We began ...

... and ended the day by taking photos ...

Then there was evening, when we ate homemade muffaletta (which by the way, how DO you pronounce that word?). Ashley had mentioned wanting one a few weeks ago when I was in New Orleans for a basketball game. She was quite pleased that I remembered.

They were so big it was hard to eat ... but they sure were good.

After dinner and after Eden went to bed, Ashley and I enjoyed her present from me ... the final season of ThirtySomething! Okay, we're old ...
