more Winters Little

Over Father's Day weekend, I got to travel back out to Oklahoma to see this cute little man ...

... and his parents. I mean, seriously, how stinkin cute is he? I was so grateful to be able to spend a long weekend with Winters and Whitney, just letting him sleep on me til my back hurt ...

and watching him smile in his sleep ...

Here's Winters trying out the Moby wrap with his Mommy ...

Lydia is completely done with the falling-asleep-while-being-held phase and rarely ever cuddles for more than a few seconds. You can bet I was taking full advantage of this little one wanting to be held and rocked ...

I did manage to cook a few things again this trip ... this time I opted for tacos and black-eyed pea salsa. I even volunteered to cook this at home once a week for the rest of the summer; I just told Graham I'd be using a taco seasoning packet, and he said one step at a time.

We also squeezed in nightly walks, a mani/pedi session followed by coffee {hence the paper flip-flops at the coffee shop that just made me laugh}, and a photo session of Winters and his daddy on Father's Day.

I seriously could have held him all weekend. Wouldn't you if you had someone who snuggled up like this?

On Monday, Whit and Winters took me to the airport where they picked up my replacement -- CC!

We brought McAlister's to the airport and had a little lunch for about 45 minutes before I had to race off to my flight {long story, but apparently when the airline put me on an earlier flight on the way out to OK, they forgot to tell the computer and it thought I was a no-show and then cancelled my return flight ... and no one told me!!! Unbelievable! I made it home after waiting standby for three flights and missing my fun date in New Orleans with Graham. Ugghh}

It was a wonderful, wonderful weekend and again full of those conversations you just only seem to have in person. I am definitely in withdrawal from seeing this little man and watching my sister be a great, AMAZING mom -- Whit, I can't wait to see y'all again soon!
