On Tuesday, I went in for another check-up with the high-risk OB and yet another ultrasound. These extra ultrasounds are great ... except for the fact that I have to keep saying, "No, we don't want to know the sex of the baby today."
Anyhow, according to the doctor and sonographer, everything is good. Bebe is weighing in at 3 pounds 9 ounces (give or take 8 ounces, yes a pretty big variance) and has a good bit of hair. My blood pressure (118/68) and weight gain (25 pounds according to the doctor, 30 pounds according to my records) are also looking good at this point.
The best news was that I no longer have to go back to see the high-risk OB. Just one more ultrasound to go at 35 weeks since that is when the pre-eclampsia most likely set in last time. Other than that, we're just preparing for Bebe and counting down the weeks now.
I am glad to hear that all is looking good with the baby! This summer sure will be filled with fun :) Eden is going to be such a lovely big sister! Thinking of you all!
ReplyDeleteyay! I'm so excited for you, Graham and Eden. Can't wait to find out if it's a Boy or Girl and can't wait for this little bundle to come into the world.
