"Lydia and CC and Granddaddy and Sugar"

One morning while Ashley was in the bed with Lydia, she asked Miss L what she thought about going to see CC, Granddaddy, and Sugar. Lydia's response: "No sissy. Not you. Not Daddy. Just me, Sugar, CC, and Granddaddy." So, the day before we had planned to head to Jackson for the 4th, Ashley was on her way to McComb with a stop at the Mississippi Welcome Center to drop Lydia off to comply.

As one might expect in the summer, one of the first stops was to the swimming hole with all her ducks in a row ...

CC also took her to the grocery store to get ready for the long weekend with family.

Although it was not her first time there by herself, it was definitely the most memorable for her. She LOVED it - by herself, such a big girl. And she is still talking about it, wondering when she gets to go again.
