I'm trying to make the most of being "at home" for the summer withe updates to the house and fun time with the girls. Finally found a true pedestal table on Craigslist -- hopefully, it will be stained to match the chairs soon.
... Summer selfies are a must. Just like hanging out half naked and playing legos ...
... and sleeping in! The girls have both started sleeping until almost 8 this summer. We've never EVER had little ones that slept past 6:30 so it's been a real treat (and has made me start to feel rested again for the first time in a few years).
The girls have been using their "art area" every day, and we've been to storytime at the library most weeks.
We also found a new kids' consignment store and hit the jackpot for EB -- 14 pieces for less than $60!
Our other summer obsession has been music by Lily & Madeleine. The girls have a YouTube Channel that we can watch on the TV of just Lily & Madeleine music. I've been telling EB & L that they might be sister-musicians one day when they're older, too.
I love summer!
