At some point the week of Lydia's birthday, EB learned from PBS Kids that Saturday (May 4) was National Lemonade Day. She wanted to do a lemonade stand. Her first customers were Thomas and Brian Goeke. I think they drank 15 cups each.
We set up out front, not thinking that across the street were t-ball and soccer games for the Y! Customers galore! When a customer asked what price, EB responded:
"If you have one quarter, it is one quarter. If you have two quarters, it is two."
I like that mentality - pay what you can afford! Most people paid two quarters and gave a tip on top!
(Ashley and I both thought 50 cents was too expensive until we learned that stands down the street were selling for a dollar. Seriously!?! When did we get so old? Geez.)
We sold out of lemonade in about an hour. We had to make more for the party.

[Editor's Note: We probably sold out so quickly because it was sooo good and people kept coming back. Graham made actual hand-squeezed lemonade with real sugar. It was yummy!]
