On Friday, Jan 24, our newest little member of the family arrived! Courtney and Britton welcomed Harrison "Rowe" Jones in to the world late that night.

Unfortunately, January 24 was also a freak winter storm for Louisiana so the interstates were closed -- yes, closed! So, while I couldn't speed out of town on Friday in time to make it to the hospital in north Mississippi before Rowe's arrival, I was able to make it up to Oxford on Saturday with Momma and Daddy after the interstate was reopened. It was a wonderful though short visit, and Rowe is simply perfect.

The girls even had a chance to "meet" baby Rowe, though they are really looking forward to holding him in person soon!

Since Sunday was Momma's birthday, we actually went to dinner on Saturday night to celebrate.
