a beignet day

Thankfully, the weather was awful the entire week that Whitney and Winters were here. Bad weather = Whitney not wanting to do the 3-hour drive to Jackson. Never thought I'd be so happy to see a bad weather prediction for the week!

The girls were prepared. Like EB's outfit? Mexican dress on top of a purple, long-sleeved t-shirt, rainbow leggings, side ponytail, and HelloKitty rainboots. She was in love with her outfit selection that day.

Since the weather outside was yucky, we decided a yummy afternoon treat was just the ticket day after school.

Next year, Winters will hopefully be able to actually eat a beignet.
