Weekend #3 - Mama II's

On Sunday, we woke up in Auburn, had some coffee and cereal, then got on the road for long trip home. Apparently, yelling "War Eagle!" all day wore Lydia out. She was completely out by the time we made it to Andalusia for lunch at Mama II's ...

She is still in love with her pacifiers (aka "ba-ba"), though we know she will need to be done with it sooner rather than later.

We got to Mama II's house in time for lunch. We picked up some Zaxby's on our way to her house and called the Brooks clan to meet us.

Bob took this picture, which Ashley loves ...

EB and Lydia had a grand time with their cousins ...

It was also time to pick limes from Mama II's 12-foot-tall lime tree. Seriously, this thing is huge. We've already made one key lime pie since we've been home, and it was delicious.

We played in Andalusia for a few hours then it was time to head to our next stop, Mobile. The girls got a bit crazy close to our destination, using their popcorn holders to "talk" to each other in funny voices.

The view of the bridge that takes us into Mobile from the north ...

After dinner, playtime, and bath time at Nona and Big Daddy's, we made the rest of the drive back to Baton Rouge on Sunday night.

It was a long drive, and we were tired on Monday, but it sure was special to see Nona, Big Daddy, Sarah and Robbie, and Mama II and the Brooks clan in a single weekend.
