She LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVES her sister. Seriously. She follows EB around, copying her every move. The other day they were by the back door. EB said something goofy. Lydia repeated. EB knocked twice on the door. Lydia knocked twice. EB knocked once ... well, you get it. Where her sister is, Lydia is there too - many times trying to chase EB and hug her tight.
Not to let her sister outdo her on the "What?!" factor, Lydia was a statue during her first dentist visit. Barely even a whimper. Mouth open, eyes fixed on PBS Kids. Of course, she really enjoys brushing her teeth. She looks at the toothpaste and says, "This say Glitter Baby. Glitter Baby." That's her toothpaste (really Crest Kids Sparkle).
At her first checkup, Ashley was told L's teeth look great, lots of good spacing between the teeth, and she has 4 molars coming in -- one all the way, one halfway, one just about to break through, and one still hiding. We have definitely seen a change in her attitude (think sudden screaming fits) while these molars have been coming in. Even her teachers at school could pinpoint when she was having pain from her teeth.
In general, though, she is a VERY happy baby. She smiles a lot, dances often, and loves to do some crazy moves.
