Grace is Clara!
EB's dear friend, Grace, was Clara in the Baton Rouge Ballet Theatre's Nutcracker this year! We splurged and got front-row seats ... center. Which was great, except Graham was sick (later we realized it was the flu) and I just knew Lydia would need to get up to go to the bathroom in the middle of the performance, and we'd have to climb over 20 people and in front of the entire massive theater. Thankfully, we made it through without incident, and the performance was really amazing -- acrobatics, fireworks, and beautiful ballet.
It was Lydia's first ballet!
Bengal Gymnastics
We were really proud of all the girls learned at gymnastics last semester. To end the session, they held a parents' viewing night ..
Unfortunately, Lydia had a fever that day so she didn't get to participate in Parents' Night ...
Despite enjoying time with friends and their gymnastics classes, EB said she wanted to take a break for a while. So, we're enjoying more afternoons and nights at home this spring semester.
friends at church
Graham bought me a selfie-stick/mono-pod for my souvenir from S. Korea. It was the hit of our Sunday school Christmas party. We are so thankful for these friends!
photo sessions
While at The 147, we took 20 minutes to shoot some quick family photos. The highlights of the cousins ...
Thankful at Thanksgiving
Even though we had invited all the cousins to our house for Thanksgiving and had grand visions of having all the Jones and Bodie families in Baton Rouge, the troops revolted and said they were headed to The 147 for Thanksgiving -- something about it being a more central location, blah, blah, blah.
So, like the true super magnet that they are when JW, Laura Leigh, Henry Winters, and Rowe are all in the same location, they pulled us to Mississippi for Thanksgiving ...
When you see things like this ...
... you can't help but be thankful.
