Our first week at home

While Graham spent the day moving our furniture into the new house with the help of friends, I spent the day driving to Baton Rouge and the girls stayed and played with CC, Granddaddy, Aunt Whitney, and JW ...

It made ALL the difference to have 48 hours without the girls to get the house functional before they arrived! On their first day in the new house, they got to have a playdate with their friends across the street, Chloe and Piper -- they were happy girls!

Later that weekend, CC, Aunt FeeFee, and JW made the trip to Baton Rouge to help get the house unpacked and spend time with the girls.

We also spent our mornings that first week and Vacation Bible School. I was the teacher for EB's PreK class and got to stay with them all day taking them from one activity to the next. Let me tell you, four-year-old little boys are not afraid to ask for some hugs and hand holding! It was a great week, and I'm so glad I got to spend that time with EB. She has told lots of people that I was her teacher. Makes me smile each time.
