We apparently have a teenager living in our house in the form of our 5-year-old daughter. Once she gets going telling a story, there's a "like" in just about every sentence, sometimes every phrase.

Seriously, she was like, "Mom, we were going to jump in the pool and Caroline was like jumping and being all crazy. Like, she was yelling at me to get in ..."

If EB had been writing, it would have sounded just like that.
