After church, we went to the lawn and ate lunch
then got lined up for hunting.
First up were the toddlers.
Lydia kept trying to sneak under the rope before it was time. When they finally got to start, she ran after the eggs after dumping the constraints of her bucket ...
... and while she started by putting the eggs in the bucket ...
... at one point, she did not want to give them up - she kept holding them tight to her chest and grunting "my egg".
Next up was EB's age group (and Lydia again - she kept going under the ropes to get more eggs, and who are we to stop her?!? Too much fun!)
EB got her fill of eggs (and shared extras with some smaller kids who did not find as many)
and finished out the afternoon at church by swinging.
Earlier that morning ... EB watching me narrate the Palm Sunday Cantata. She kept waving at me through the window, and I kept sneaking waves when I could.
I just love this post for some reason. The girls look so pretty in their dresses, your family picture is darling, and the one of Lydia holding the eggs to her chest simply make me smile.
