After her big party, we spent the day celebrating with family and opening more presents from family. Britton and Courtney had their gift shipped to our house ahead of time. When Britton saw it, he said, "Oh, good. It already came wrapped."

Of course she asked if it was a "special day" -- so she got to have a Sprite. Can you tell she loved it?

Taking some pics to show her in all her party-day glow and to show the cute shoes that were her birthday present from Aunt Whitney and BeBeop ... She looks so grown.

I'm so very thankful for our family and friends that were able to be a part of this day and celebrate my little dream - Eden Brooks. When she was less than a month old, I remember holding her one night thinking, "When will it seem real?" It was all so magical that she seemed just like the perfect dream. Some days, I still have those feelings -- just amazement at having this wonderful little dream in my life.

So thankful that Eden Brooks is my little 5-year-old.
