acting class

sad

surprised

scared

happy

mad

We have definitely heard more than once that we need to consider getting E into some sort of acting. She has always liked demonstrating emotions so we played the "show me ______" game the other day for a minute. She definitely has the skills, but I don't think she needs any coaching in learning how to fake her emotions -- she doesn't need any more weapons in her arsenal, if you know what I mean.

Lately, she has been working on refining her desparate, sad, distraught abilities. As in, almost all of her pretend play has been focused on a person who is upset by the loss of someone or something. In generally includes lots of short, quick breathes, sniffling, and eventually real tears if she can make them come. I'll try to get a video posted soon.
