Here's a mix of a bunch of things from the past few weeks.

For her birthday, Eden got an art easel and an art board. She and Ashley made up this game where Ashley would write a word on the art board and Eden would replicate that word on the easel. Pretty good!

At some point Eden made Ashley hide her eyes then be surprised that Eden could do it...

If you can't tell from the picture above, Eden's hair has gotten VERY long. This means that we have to wash it, condition it, then dry it so that it isn't a total mess the next morning. Ashely keeps saying how great it is to watch me dry Eden's hair - it reminds her of her dad doing the same ...

One of Eden's favorite things to do is to come home and see a package on the front porch. Usually it is a box of books from Beverly; this time it was a birthday present from the Brooks family! They just started carrying the full line of Melissa and Doug items at the Hardware, so we got to shop online and tell Aunt Denise what we wanted. There were so many things, so we gave a few options ...

Eden LOVES her new cupcake set and her yard bugs!

The other night, Eden saw the basket full of unfolded laundry and decided to help. We asked her what she was doing, and she explained she was doing "my work." She just wanted to help, and she did a great job! She kept asking, "How do you fold this? Is this how you do it?"

Ashley calls this picture "the look" as in "Mom! Why are you taking my picture?"

Being the mom, sometimes you have to calm down the baby ...

We've been waiting a while for this ... in her class they asked all the students to send in a picture and a name story. We got the name story book for a night and got to read about why all her classmates have the names they do. Fun!
