This morning while Graham was making breakfast, the girls and I had fun hanging out in the bed. Eden asked how to spell her sister's name. We've talked about it a few times before. After writing it while I told her the letters and repeating what I said about 4 times, she had it. These two she did on her own without me even prompting the letters ...
At school, they are learning how to write their letters. They started with A. They're on H this week.
While she was writing, Eden had a captivated audience ...
This little munchkin officially has her first tooth pushing through her gums!!
No wonder she has been chewing on everything in sight and has been so upset when we remove our fingers from her mouth lately. At least I noticed early enough to give her some medicine to help with the pain. I never seemed to catch on early enough for that with E.
After breakfast, Miss E told me she was going to "write down all of our family."
And, then she did. How can she do this??
There was also a green slime session ...
We also had a great visit from Graham's cousin Colin [pictures to come] and a 3-year-old's birthday party where Eden and I went down a 20-foot inflatable slide that was at the end of an inflatable obstacle course. Who says my back was hurting yesterday? Not me.
At bedtime, E was staring at the book covers hanging on her wall and read out the letters R - E - D, sounded it out, and said red. I asked her how she knew that, and she said, "Well, I just know it."
I have a feeling we may be hearing a lot of that explanation for the time to come.
