Weekend with CoCo & Britton - The end

I got back to town on Friday afternoon. I met Ashley at her college roommate's house, where E had been playing with Mandy's kids Caroline and Will and Ashley and Lydia had been visiting with Mandy and her newest addition Anna Marie. I rang the doorbell, and Ashley told Eden it was for her. When she came to the door and saw me she let out a yelp then opened the door to give me the biggest hug ever. Quite a nice welcome.

That night, Ashley was able to visit with two more college friends, Elaine and Sara Beth. Elaine and her family are moving to Latin America for their newest ministry, so this was a farewell get together of sorts.

That night, Uncle Britton and Aunt CoCo arrived - and were in the pool first thing the next day. Eden was happy to join in.

On Saturday afternoon, we went to finish sorting through and cleaning out Ashley's grandmother's place. While there, we found a cool playland. Eden was pretty excited, and Ashley was glad to share something from her Grandmama's with E. Amazing how toys without electrical parts can work just the same after 30 years.

We also went to church at St. Mark's on Sunday where Lydia got to meet many old family friends including Ms. Becky, who always visits with Eden in the church nursery.

And, Lydia also got to meet her great Aunt Janet ...

Before we left for Baton Rouge, Ashley had to get a photo of Eden and Lydia with Aunt CoCo and Uncle Britton. Don't you just love Britton's "crazy" face ...

 Eden was definitely pushed to her limits with 9 days away from home, but by the end of the week she was really doing much better with minding. All in all, it was a great visit.
