Nona (pronounced by Eden as "no-no") came bearing gifts...

I think the headband (from Pam and Larry Batchelor) was supposed to be Lydia's, but Eden could not resist trying it on.

Lydia also got her first swimsuit (Pam and Larry also gave Eden her first swimsuit 3 years ago). It is pink and ruffly just like Eden's was, and, yes, Eden tried on Lydia's - somewhat too small, but that's only a minor issue. And Eden got a new swimsuit coverup, which will come in handy at the end of the month when Eden and I go to Destin.

That afternoon, Sandy King, a long-time Bodie family friend, came to vist too. It was very special for Sandy to get to meet Lydia and hang out for a while.

In all, we had a great weekend and a great visit (though we were all so tired I'm not sure we expressed how much we appreciated everything). There is no way we would have been able to handle Eden's fever, the bum AC unit, and our new crazy normal if it were not for Nona. Thanks!
