{@ 24weeks ... photo by Eden}
Well, I have been meaning to write some of this stuff down for the past three weeks. I don't feel too bad about it since I barely blogged anything about the pregnancy while I was pregnant with Eden. Anyhow, here are some things about this go round ...
- I was sick for nearly the first four months.
- Started to feel better around the holidays thankfully and started to have some energy to clean around the house when we got back to Baton Rouge.
- New Year's Eve was the first time I could feel Bebe moving.
- Since then, I have felt Bebe moving every day.
- Graham has been able to feel Bebe over the past few weeks as well.
- I've had to visit the high-risk OB since one of my early, extra blood tests came back abnormal (my doc did lots of tests because of the pre-eclampsia with Eden). Thankfully, all the ultrasounds show Bebe growing perfectly, and I am just on a baby aspirin everyday to deal with the MTHFR gene abnormality.
- Some days while teaching, I forget that I'm pregnant (this is miraculous) only to remember after I quickly jump down from sitting on the table up front and start to walk around while lecturing.
- It is much harder to forget that I am pregnant by the end of every day. I usually feel tight, heavy and very pregnant by that point in the day.
- I have not wanted or enjoyed milk this time around. Surprising, since with Eden I wanted to drink milk with every meal and for snacks during the day.
- I have had one dream so far where I had the baby (in the same delivery room as with E) and was handed Bebe. In the dream, Bebe was a girl.
- Our plan is still to wait and fully meet Bebe in person at the delivery instead of finding out the baby's sex through ultrasound. When people ask Eden if she thinks we're having a boy or a girl, she responds, "We don't know yet."
love seeing your cute bebe belly.
