around the house

We have finally cleared our house of Christmas decorations ... well, almost  - there is still the wall full of Christmas cards {which if Ashley has anything to do with it will be like this until we start to receive cards next Christmas}

And you may notice that we finally have a rug in the dining room. Thanks to Ashley's mom and dad for the new addition and for making the room finally look "finished" as Ashley says.

Also around the house are Eden's first "representational drawings" {now appropriately framed}...

which you may notice are hanging above her toy shelves that we just moved into her room. When we realized we'd need a spot for the Christmas tree in our den, we decided to make the big move and finally take down the crib/toddler bed in E's room. So, after a little rearranging, we ended up with a big girl look for our big girl's room.

 And if you have received some artwork lately, this is where she creates her masterpieces ...

Perhaps the most recent and exciting edition is our new television. If you have visited us you know that we were still living in 1998 with the 19" TV I got for Christmas that year. When we started noticing that the scrolling index on Sportscenter was cut off we began thinking it was time to upgrade ... although most of the channels are still not digital {one step at a time} the networks and PBS look great ...
