i love my babysitter

The Friday before Thomas and Jennie arrived, Eden's Grandmommy-CC {or perhaps one of several new names that are in final contention} came for a visit. Eden had just finished her bath when her Granmommy arrived and was so excited to see her that she ran out and gave her a big hug ... no bathrobe, no diaper, and as wet as can be. The next morning, shared a second breakfast together ...

At bedtime on Friday night, Eden wanted her Grandmommy-CC to read her books and put her to bed. "Eden. Is it okay if Daddy goes bye-bye." Nod yes. "Is it okay if Momma goes bye-bye." Nod yes. "Is it okay if Grandmommy goes bye-bye?" "No no."

She and Eden had a grand time on Friday walking up the block to the antique store and playing at the park in the afternoon. Granmommy reports that Eden has a really long attention span as she stayed in the swing forever at the park. They also ran into our neighbors while they were there. Eden cried as her Granmommy left on Saturday, but we know she's really just looking forward to seeing her again.

The only problem when she comes is that we end up working more, which is the plan, and I'm not around to take photos of the two of them together.
