The night before our trip to the beach, we bought insurance ... insurance for car-related breakdowns. It came in the form of a small, portable DVD player and a set of DVDs (Yo Gabba Gabba, Sesame Street).
Insurance is a funny thing. If you don't have it, you need it; if you have it, you don't need it. We were 2 hours into our 3 hour trip to Mobile, and Eden was still quite content reading books, looking for trucks, and singing songs. We felt like since we had it, though, that we should use it just a little bit. So we did. After we stopped for dinner, Ashley and Eden watched a little bit of YoGabbaGabba just for fun. The same thing happened on the way back - not needed but they watched just for a bit for good measure, go figure. Oh well ... we have it just in case.
