the last sweet days of summer

For our last two weeks of summer, we packed in as much fun and laziness as we could. Little bit only took a handful of naps all summer but was incredibly adorable when she did. We saw this "playhouse" at the mall one day, and EB's first question was, "Do you think Britton can make this for me?" She thinks he can make anything. She's kinda right ...

Carousel rides at the mall are always a hit ...

Oh, dear summer, couldn't you stay around a bit longer?!

The girls and I have decided we'd like to have a day of summer and a day of school, then a day of summer and a day of school. Anybody know how to make that happen?

the rest of our trip

Our time at Britton and Courtney's is never long enough. Thankfully, my sweet girls were super sweet on the drive home to their CC and Granddaddy's house ...

On Monday, the girls and I got to have a fun reunion with some of my closest college friends (all part of our made-up club, Camp Cho-a-taw).

It was a fun, fun morning of swimming and catching up with old friends.

Before meeting Graham and Granddaddy for dinner, CC took us to Target for some back-to-school shopping ... Teddy went along for the ride ...

It was great, last trip to help us finish out our summer vacation.

Rowe's lunch

A special day deserves a special lunch in honor of this little man ...

Rowe's special day

On Sunday, we spent our day focused on Rowe and his baptism ...

Such a special day for our family!

heading to Oxford

The last weekend of July after EB's gymnastics camp, we made our last big trip of the summer and headed up to Oxford for Rowe's baptism. We spent the first of the weekend hanging out with Courtney, Britton, Winters, and Rowe ...

We even got to have a family dinner with Allison, Jeff and their kiddos. So fun to have cousins together for a meal ...

sweet cousins with the same color hair -- so crazy since neither Alli nor I have this color
