snow!!

You may have seen the news coverage of the snow storms that rocked Birmingham and Atlanta a few weeks ago. Well, Baton Rouge was hit by the same systems, and although we didn't really get a lot of snow, there was enough snow and ice to close the interstates for 24 hours and cancel school for 4 days! There were two separate storms that came through in the span of a week, and thankfully the EBR school system was not taking chances having children stranded at school or out in frigid weather at bust stops. The girl loved it, despite Lydia asking and asking to go back to her Butterfly class towards the end of the week.

thankfully, we had an old red jersey since a certain someone just had to have a jersey like her sister so she could play soccer, too ... ...

EB said she loved it. It was so fun to see her speeding across the field going after the ball. I think it's going to be a great season.
