name that song

I know Graham is going to write about lots of things very soon (like the beach and our new place), but I wanted to write this down before I forgot. Eden can now successfully identify 4 songs if you hum or whistle them and ask her to guess (Happy Birthday, Lullaby {the version I sing to her at night}, 3 Little Monkeys Jumpin on the Bed, and Skidamarink a dink a dink I Love You).

I wasn't sure if she could do it but one morning this week Graham started singing a random, made-up song to the tune of Happy Birthday while he was cooking breakfast, and he was promplty corrected by a little two-year-old saying, "Dat's not Happy Birthday, Daddy!" You can imagine the almost eye roll that went with it when she said it :).

We've been practicing with other songs, like Twinkle-Twinkle, and I'm sure her little brain will be making more connections in no time.
